What is Netiquette?
The term netiquette actually refers to using etiquette while online. It is important to remember that anything posted online can always be retrieved even if deleted.
Social Networking and Cyberbullying Policies (to include email and internet policies)
Students will not:
Cyberbullying is the use of electronic information and communication devices to willfully harm a person and/or persons by the use of electronic text, photos, and/or videos.
Students will not:
- post any material that is deemed threating, harassing, derogatory, illegal, or obscene by the school.
- post phone number, address, or any other personal information, unless deemed appropriate by the teacher.
- allow any other person to utilize their usernames or passwords.
- assume the identity of any other person than themselves.
Cyberbullying is the use of electronic information and communication devices to willfully harm a person and/or persons by the use of electronic text, photos, and/or videos.
- Cyberbullying will not be tolerated at our school.
- We will have safe, kind, responsible, and respectful behavior online and on campus.
- Cyberbullying will be punishable following the Code of Conduct. This includes suspension, and expulsion.
