What is Digital Citizenship?
Whether it is called digital citizenship, digital wellness or digital ethics the issues are the same; how should we act when we are online, and what should be taught to the next generation? Digital Citizenship include nine different elements: digital access, digital commerce, digital communication, digital literacy, digital etiquette, digital law, digital rights and responsibilities, digital health and wellness and digital security. An easy way to remember these nine elements is by organizing them using the acronym REPs. Respect yourself and each other. Educate yourself and connect with others. Protect yourself and protect others. For more information on these topics, visit http://www.digitalcitizenship.net/Nine_Elements.html
